Tips

We suggest you to bring your own swimsuit, a towel and sunscreen lotion. Wind jackets and hats can be needed since it could be windy while sailing.

If you think you can suffer from seasickness we suggest you to take pills and patches before the tour. If you don’t have the equipment required we will provide you with the necessary, please ask for it when you book.

Welcome on board!

Once you meet the skipper you will get on board on a boat with three double cabins (one will be available during the excursion), a bathroom with shower, an external shower, a kitchen and a refrigerator without freezer.

Navigation along Ortigia island

Starting from Porto Piccolo of Syracuse, you will sail along Ortigia Island admiring the Maniace Castle, one of the most important castles of the Swabian Era.

Swim Break offshore

Once reached the open sea, we will stop for a relaxing swim.

Aperitif on board

Back on board, we will offer you a rich aperitif made of local products such as home made bruschette, cheese, cold meats, fresh fruits and products in oil. All will be paired by white local natural wine powered by Emilio Sciacca wine*

*It is possible to request a vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free menu. For any other dietary requirements please let us know when booking.

Back to our home port

Usually you will have 2 hours in total to spend in our boat, including the navigation. So you will be back at the departure Port at around 8:30 pm / 9:00 pm

Piper is a 10.35 meters long sailboat with three cabins for up to 8 passengers plus the crew.
