Taormina and the magic light of the sunset from the sea

Aperitif at Sunset on a Sailboat.

An event suitable for everyone: for those who want to admire the sunset at the sea from a different perspective, for those who want to relax after a day of hiking and indulge in 2 hours of pure magic and for those who want to celebrate an important event with their closest friends. A boat trip to enjoy an aperitif at sea, with the possibility of taking a swim at sunset near the very famous Isola Bella or th Taormina Bay Villagonia.
This aperitif on a sailing boat is organized with departure from Catania starting at 19:00.

Tips

We suggest you to bring your own swimsuit, a towel and sunscreen lotion. Wind jackets and hats can be needed since it could be windy while sailing.

If you think you can suffer from seasickness we suggest you to take pills and patches before the tour. If you don’t have the equipment required we will provide you with the necessary, please ask for it when you book.

Itinerary

Welcome on board!

Once you meet the skipper you will get on board on a boat with three double cabins (one will be available during the excursion), a bathroom with shower, an external shower, a kitchen and a refrigerator.

Navigation and Aperitif on board

Sailing or motor navigation according to the marine weather conditions, outside the port of Catania, to reach a point where it will be possible to take a bath and swim under the reddish sky of the sunset. Relaxing break, accompanied by a tasty aperitif and a glass of ETNA DOC wine surrounded by the incredible scenery of the sunset over the sea. After enjoying your aperitif, you can take another swim in the sea.

Sunset

Once you will reach a good position to enjoy the sunset view, we will show you the how magic can be Catania when the sun goes down. After a little stop there with the possibility to take a bath, you will start again the navigation to come back in Catania.

Back to our home port

During the return trip you can take a bath offshore (weather permitting). You will be back in Catania around 9:00/9:30 p.m.
